Welcome to the U.S. Army Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center’s (TARDEC) technology collaboration area, created to help our external partners connect, collaborate and communicate with us. TARDEC develops and integrates technology solutions for the Army to improve Current Force effectiveness and provide superior capabilities for the Future Force. Our technical staff leads research in ground systems survivability, power and mobility, autonomy, force projection and vehicle electronics architecture.

Internally, our collaboration process helps us evaluate R&D ideas, test service requests, commercial product solicitations and general inquiries, and if appropriate, make connections within the Department of Defense (DoD), Army Material Command (AMC), U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM), U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command Life Cycle Management Command (TACOM LCMC) and TARDEC. We invite you to share ideas that can help TARDEC develop, integrate and sustain advanced manned and autonomy-enabled ground system capabilities for the Current and Future Force in accordance with TARDEC’s 30-Year Strategy. We are keen to collaborate with external partners to understand and integrate new technologies for both existing and emerging systems, reduce operating and maintenance costs of fielded systems, and ensure that our Soldiers have the best performing, most reliable and easiest to maintain ground vehicles in the world.
